Rock Climbing Courses - General
We offer bespoke courses designed around our clients aspirations, aims and previous experience. Courses can be provided for anyone from total beginners wanting to learn the basics and experience climbing, through to experienced climbers wanting to up-skill specific technical aspects. Indoors to Outdoors Climbing Course
If you have climbed indoors and want to take the next step towards becoming an independent outdoor climber, this course will give you the necessary skills. We'll look at crag/route selection, selecting suitable equipment, belaying, creating anchors and rigging simple top rope systems, as well as lots of climbing!

Introduction to Sport Climbing
Sport climbing in Britain is more popular than ever, with many more venues and climbs across the grade range available for climbers new to the discipline. The skills required can appear less complex than for traditional climbing, but it is equally important to get things right. We'll look at skills such as lead climbing, belaying a leader, threading anchors, safe falling, simple problem solving, as well as lots of climbing!

Introduction to Multi-pitch Climbing
Multi-pitch climbing is the most challenging and rewarding style of rock climbing in the UK, with superb mountain crags and adventurous sea cliffs providing experiences other climbs don't! We'll look at the skills required to get yourself up and down from a typical multi-pitch route, including building belays, stance management, descents and problem solving, as well as lots of multi-pitch climbing!

Learn to Lead Courses
Any climbers first lead is a big step in their climbing career, and doing so under the supervision of a professional can make it safer, and less stressful. This course can be run on either single or multi-pitch climbs. We'll look at the skills required for leading a typical pitch including selecting and assessing routes, belaying a leader, placing and assessing protection, building belays, problem solving, and lots of climbing!

Private Guiding
You may have a classic rock route you've always wanted to tick, want to experience some classic Lake District multi-pitch climbs, or maybe can't wait to get gripped on a isolated sea cliff? Family Climbing Days
A day for all the family to enjoy, we will visit a suitable family friendly crag and spend as much time as possible climbing as well as introducing the basics of rope work, movement and even a chance to complete a abseil.
For this course any under 18's must be accompanied by a parent.

Self Rescue
Climbing doesn't always go exactly to plan and having a range of skills to deal with any unplanned events is essential for any climber. Courses are bespoke and designed around the type of climbing you participate in. This can range from escaping off a mountain cliff, how to ascend a rope to escape the incoming tide, assisting a second who can't follow the climb, rescuing an injured climber, or quite possibly all of the above.
